Sara Stratoberdha

Sara Stratoberdha is a seasoned finance and blockchain executive currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of CoinDesk, the premier global media, events, data, and indices platform covering blockchain and digital assets. She was appointed CEO in February 2024, following Bullish Group’s acquisition of CoinDesk, and has played a central role in shaping the company’s strategic direction in the evolving crypto ecosystem.

Before leading CoinDesk, Stratoberdha served as Head of Development and Business Development at Bullish Global, where she was responsible for marketing, communications, investor relations, business development, and supporting strategic investments and mergers and acquisitions across the crypto exchange’s broader platform.

Her professional background spans traditional finance and investment roles, including Vice President positions at Far Peak Acquisition Corp, as well as experience at major financial institutions such as Blackstone, Asante Capital Group, and Credit Suisse, where she built expertise in financial markets and strategic operations.

Stratoberdha holds a Bachelor of Science in International Economics from Georgetown University’s Walsh School of Foreign Service. As CEO of CoinDesk, she has overseen editorial, events, and index functions, aiming to maintain journalistic independence while expanding the platform’s influence in crypto media and digital asset research during a period of industry maturation.
