Pascal Gauthier

Pascal Gauthier (born June 26, 1976) is a French tech entrepreneur and executive best known as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Ledger, a leading global provider of hardware wallets and digital asset security solutions. Under his leadership, Ledger has become one of the most influential companies in the crypto ecosystem, helping individuals and institutions securely store and manage cryptocurrency holdings.

Gauthier began his career in tech with startups and online businesses. He played a key role at Kelkoo, a European price comparison service later acquired by Yahoo, and then served as Chief Operating Officer at Criteo, where he helped drive the company’s global expansion and growth. After these roles, he became a venture partner at Mosaic Ventures, a London-based venture capital firm focused on early-stage tech companies, and also chaired Kaiko, a financial data provider for crypto markets.

Gauthier’s journey with Ledger started in 2015 when he became an early investor and board member. He later served as COO and president before being appointed CEO, steering the company’s strategic direction and expansion. Under his leadership, Ledger has pushed innovations in self-custody solutions and secure hardware, including expanded product lines like Ledger Nano devices and the Ledger Stax, positioning the company as a trusted name in crypto security worldwide.
