BC Wong (often known simply as “BC”) is a Singaporean business executive and crypto industry leader serving as the Chief Executive Officer of KuCoin, one of the world’s largest and most widely used cryptocurrency exchanges. He took on the role of CEO in early 2025 as part of KuCoin’s strategic push toward global expansion, regulatory compliance, and technological innovation.

Before becoming CEO, Wong was a key member of KuCoin’s leadership team, including serving as Chief Legal Officer, where he played a central role in securing regulatory licenses and building relationships with regulators across regions such as the EU, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa. His background in law and global markets has shaped KuCoin’s emphasis on compliance and trusted operations in an industry often scrutinized for security and regulatory challenges.

Wong holds a Juris Doctor degree from Singapore Management University and a master’s degree from George Washington University, giving him a strong foundation in legal frameworks and international perspectives that he applies to the rapidly evolving crypto sector.
