Career

Oleg Mukhanov (born 1985 in Rostov-on-Don, Russia) is a British business executive and investor with deep experience in financial technology, venture capital, and global business scaling. He is best known for his leadership at TradingView, a leading charting, analytics and social platform widely used by traders across markets; including cryptocurrency, equities, forex, and derivatives; to chart price movements and share trading ideas.

Mukhanov began his career in investment banking at UBS in London, working in leveraged finance and industrial sectors before transitioning into venture capital and fintech. He served as Chief Financial Officer and later COO/Partner at Enso Ventures, a London-based VC firm, where he was involved in early-stage technology investments. He also co-founded SteadyPay, a financial technology company focused on income stabilization for gig workers.

In 2022, Mukhanov joined TradingView as Group CFO and was promoted to Chief Executive Officer in January 2024, succeeding the company’s co-founder. Under his leadership, the platform continued expanding its global presence and integrations with major brokers and trading services. He stepped down as CEO in early 2025 but remained engaged with the company as an advisor following his departure.

Mukhanov holds a law degree from Southern Federal University, a master’s in management from Warwick Business School, and completed an Executive MBA programme jointly from Columbia Business School and London Business School, equipping him with a blend of strategic, financial and operational expertise.

While not a founder of a pure crypto project, Mukhanov’s work at TradingView has had significant influence on crypto markets by providing real-time charting, technical analysis tools, and community features that millions of traders; including crypto users; rely on to make informed trading decisions.
